In the UK, Rise and Rebuild focuses on mental health, trauma recovery, and empowerment for women, families, and refugees who have faced grief, displacement, or abuse.
We are currently building a Community Healing Hub, a safe and welcoming space where women and children can release stress, access counselling, and rebuild confidence through prayer, creativity, and peer support.
Through collaboration with local churches, social-care providers, and mental-health advocates, we are creating a place where emotional restoration meets practical support—helping people find peace, identity, and direction after hardship.
Rise and Rebuild is powered by a collective of counsellors, teachers, Health Professionals, faith leaders, and community volunteers who work together to restore dignity, confidence, and hope. Everything we do is guided by faith, compassion, and the belief that transformation begins when people are seen, heard, and supported.
In the UK, Rise and Rebuild focuses on mental health, trauma recovery, and empowerment for women, families, and refugees who have faced grief, displacement, or abuse.
In Africa—especially Sierra Leone—Rise and Rebuild focuses on empowerment, protection, and psychosocial support at the grassroots level.
To empower women and children through skills training, mental-health support, child protection, and community development initiatives that foster resilience, hope, and lasting transformation.
To create safe, inclusive, faith-centred environments where women and children can heal, learn, and rise to rebuild their futures with dignity and purpose.
At The Rise and Rebuild Organisation, we are committed to empowering women, children, and vulnerable communities across the UK and Africa through holistic, community-driven initiatives that promote healing, resilience, and sustainable growth.
Our work is grounded in compassion, inclusion, and faith, ensuring that every individual — regardless of their background or ability — has the opportunity to thrive.
Although we are still in the early stages of developing our physical training and support centre, we are actively working towards establishing a community institute — a safe space where women and children can learn, heal, and grow together. This vision guides all our current and future initiatives.
We are building and creating a safe space for children and young people who need to be heard, protected, and supported. The National Child Helpline serves as a lifeline — offering confidential listening, counselling, and referral services for those experiencing abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Our goal is to strengthen protection systems by working hand in hand with community leaders, schools, health professionals, and government agencies to ensure that no child suffers in silence.
As part of our long-term vision, our future centre will include a dedicated child-protection hub — a place where trained professionals and volunteers can provide in-person support and counselling to vulnerable children.
We believe that sustainable change begins when women are economically empowered. When a woman can provide for herself, she begins to rediscover her worth, set healthy boundaries, and model confidence for her children. Our programmes equip women with practical, income-generating skills — including soap-making, tailoring, beadwork, sanitary-pad production, and entrepreneurship training — helping them build independent livelihoods and sustainable futures.
While we currently deliver these programmes through local partnerships and mobile community initiatives, our vision is to establish a Women’s Empowerment and Training Institute — a permanent hub where women can gather, learn, and grow in confidence and skill. This institute will provide access to workshops, mentorship, and business literacy sessions, moving women from survival to self-reliance and creating ripple effects of change in their families and communities
A growing number of women and young people are struggling with mental-health challenges, often in silence. We are bringing this reality to the forefront through advocacy, awareness, and direct support services. Our programmes help participants challenge negative thought patterns, access counselling, and find healing through faith, community, and creative expression. We partner with mental-health professionals and trauma-informed facilitators to deliver group sessions, radio talk programmes, and community workshops that break the stigma and promote emotional wellbeing.
In the future, our centre will serve as a healing hub — a safe environment where individuals can access professional counselling, therapy groups, and creative-healing sessions that restore dignity and hope.
We are committed to protecting women and children from all forms of violence, abuse, and exploitation. Through strong partnerships with social-service agencies, local councils, and law-enforcement bodies, we work to build effective safeguarding systems that identify risks early and provide rapid intervention. Our organisation runs community awareness campaigns on gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, trains leaders and volunteers on safeguarding principles, and advocates for survivor-centred policies.
Our vision includes developing a multi-purpose community centre that will host training rooms, counselling offices, and outreach teams — allowing us to respond more effectively to safeguarding and GBV cases across communities.
Education is the key to empowerment and transformation. We promote learning opportunities that go beyond academics — nurturing confidence, creativity, and personal growth. Our education initiatives support children, young mothers, and adult learners to gain essential literacy, digital, and vocational skills that enhance employability and self-esteem. We also provide school-based mentoring, scholarships, and access to materials for disadvantaged learners, ensuring that no one is left behind.
As we grow, we aim to develop a Learning and Resource Centre that will serve as a base for training, mentoring, and creative workshops — a place where education and empowerment meet.
No one should be excluded because of a disability. We are working to create an inclusive society where everyone — regardless of physical or cognitive ability — can participate fully in community life. Our projects ensure that buildings, learning environments, and public programmes are accessible and disability-friendly. We also collaborate with advocacy groups to provide assistive tools, counselling, and tailored skill-training for people with disabilities.
When we establish our institute, accessibility will be at the heart of its design — ensuring ramps, sensory spaces, and adaptive facilities that allow everyone to belong, participate, and thrive. Because we all deserve kindness, dignity, and opportunity, and every individual deserves to be seen, valued, and supported to reach their full potential.
